Awards and Reviews:

Mark Squires’ E-Zine on Wine: “Aged in French oak, only 40% new, this Pinot Noir (1,612 cases produced, $32) is pretty much along the lines of earlier versions, soft and ripe, with a little
burst of acidity in the background, pleasing fruit and a clean demeanor. Pleasant and straightforward, it goes down easy, without much succulence, though, seeming a bit stolid, but also tasty. Drink young. 87 points.

2011 Critics Challenge: Silver Medal

Wine Review Online: 91 Points. The stated 14.5% alcohol would suggest this is a muscular over-the-top type of Pinot Noir. But it isn’t. There’s certainly ripeness, but a lovely marriage of ripe fruit notes and layers of savory elements makes it work. A surprising delicacy emerges in the finish. Michael Apstein
